Buy the kit size that matches the number of rooms or areas you want to test: 1, 2, 3 or 5+ then we send you the DIY Mould Testing Kit via Express Post with order tracking anywhere in Australia. (We also offer Signature on Delivery and Extra Cover up to $400 per order if required at checkout). You receive the kit, expose the sterile petri-plates and/or take surface swabs, then you send the plates back to us using the pre-paid Australia Post box. We then incubate your samples and analyze the results. A written report is then sent to your nominated email address showing:
* What fungi grew (identified to Genus and Species level)
* How many colonies grew (the all important CFU - or colony forming unit count)
* The number of colonies per cubic metre of air (colonies/m3) that you are breathing in or could touch
* We can Speciate your unknown fungi beyond the limited list of 36 fungi in the ERMI, so your results are more comprehensive and reflect what is actually present in your chosen areas.
You MUST compare your indoor air quality against the outdoors which is the CONTROL. Therefore, order enough Petri plates so you have one spare for the outdoor air control. That way we (and you) have a reference to see if the indoor air is in fact contaminated above normal levels since this is needed to assess Risk
